We were a little worried that with all of our travels Santa wouldn't know where to find us, but he did! Breah was still asleep at 8 when we rolled out of bed, and because we were up half the night with her, we didn't want to wake her (she doesn't sleep as good when she gets overly tired)so we decided to have breakfast first. Nancy made yummy butterscotch rolls and a potato casserole, and by 8:30 Breah was up, so we proceeded to open presents. Santa brought Breah some slippers and her very own vacuum, which she loves. She also got that cute puppy from G. Nellie (as well as the entire LP Nativity for the 12 days of Christmas), LP Zoo from G. Nancy & G. LaMonte, 2 dolls & bottles (that she has to take to bed with her) from cousins, a flashlight, LP CD, Little Einsteins DVD, some books, and lots and lots of love! Brandon and I were spoiled as well, with food storage, clothes, watches, a pillow, running shoes, etc. But of course the best part of Christmas was being able to spend it with those we love! Even if that means getting stuck in the snow in Saratoga Springs. It was a very, very white Christmas for us this year, no dreaming required. It was beautiful and we enjoyed it while we were there, but we definitely had our fill of snow for the year and are glad to back home where it's relatively warm! I think I've become a whimp since moving down here. The negative temperatures in Vernal were miserable this year!
After examining all the toys Santa brought, she shoved them all onto the floor so she could have her couch to herself
She's really not in love with the idea of sharing her couch yet, but for a few brief moments she allowed her cousin Squiggle to sit with her. Later in the day however, she was not so giving and put up quite a fight:

Testing out her new vacuum and enjoying her baby's bottle. When she finishes she says, "Aah", just like she does every time I take a drink.
You have such a cute kid! I miss her already! That was an adventure having you guys stuck in the snow... but it was fun to see you that morning!!! Glad your back with dry tires!
ReplyDeleteWe loved seeing you guys, and we're very glad Santa was able to track you down! Good to see you got home safely...
ReplyDeleteGlad we were included in your rounds for Christmas, We loved seeing and visiting with you and seeing that cutie Breah. Sorry you had a "snow stuck experience." We will have to hear about it. I still don't have your family picture and Breah's. I will have to keep on your mom.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a busy fun time for you. Sorry about the yucky drive up, sounds so scary! I hate driving in the snow. Love your Christmas card, it is very cute and your family picture. Glad you had a good Christmas, happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great Christmas! Matthew's favorite toy has been the vacuum! It's a great toy without lots of pieces!
